I had a lunch date in Islington with Laura today, and we just ended up spending hours walking around, from the farmers market and lunch at Mem & Laz to the Islington contemporary art & design fair and finally browsing through the antiques in the Camden passage. Fantastic afternoon!

Sunday morning without a hangover is pretty damn good, and another whole day of doing nothing but enjoying life, yea, I like this.

So much to see & do, the question is - where to today?

Outfit

How great is the weather?! I've spent most of the weekend out in the sun, reading, relaxing & working on my tan. Today I took a break from it though and went to The Clothes Show London for some browsing, Martini sipping & fashion show watching, great fun, all in all a fabulous weekend.

Maybe tomorrow?!

Went to bed to read. Fell asleep. Waken some time later by children going to bed. Realised it's fridaynight. Felt like a loser. Sent some texts. Pretended to feel sad about no one replying and begging me to go out, but secretly happy to have a legitimate excuse to make a big bowl of butter popcorn's and go back to bed. Tell me, am I moving in the right or wrong direction here? Either way, I'll make up for my antisocial behaviour tomorrow. Now, back to book.

Subject of the week - the swine flu (+ some random thoughts on health in general)

I found this little cartoon in "thelondonpaper" (by emcartoons) and I think to myself, should I be worried living in this city? I mean, only yesterday I wrote on FB that I was happy to have a 24h supply of greasy takeaway (yes, I was hungover a the time of writing that), now I think, maybe that's actually not a good thing? And then I think, should I go down to the gym, or should I go to the pub and watch the footy? And it now occurs to me that this is not good, I need to get a grip, get back on track, Bognor was super for my health (well, in the beginning it was, then I started making friends and it pretty much went down hill from there, but still) London´s been, well, not-so-good, so far, I think it might be time to change that.

2008 - the year that's been

2008. It's been a good year, a great, fabolous, exciting yaer. Probably one of my favourite years so far.

I've visited new places I always wanted to go and I've come back to places I allready love. It's been a year where I've made a lot of new friends and had reunions with loved ones.

I've seen the fireworks in Sydney, danced my 21st away in a backpacker bar on Georgestreet, I've deliverd eggs in the southern highlands, I've been drinving to Melbourne for shopping, festivals, drinking & dancing, I've been stuck in the rain in KL, gone on a boat on the river in the oldest jungel in Malysia, I've seen tea plantations and I've been drinking buckets of malibu & pineapple on the beach, i've been snorkling and seen the reggae band on Koh Lipe, met an old schoolfriend, been sick and had a tattoo on Koh Lanta, I've lived for almost two months on Langkawi, spending the days on the beach, going for trips to waterfalls and islands and drinking beer and dancing and camping and... and then there was Sweden, and the best frinds and family in the world, I've worked at the same place I started working when I was fourteen, I've had one of the best summers of my life, thanks to the people around me. Then I've been shopping and drinking red wine in Paris, I've tried to get a job and apartment in Oslo, I've been back to Sweden, I've even planned a longterm stay in Sweden, just to give it up, pack my bags and go off to the UK, where I've gotten to know a lovely family, celebrated swedish and english christmas, started going to the gym, had my first car, gone shopping in London, Brighton and Chichester, and this is where I will begin the year 2009.
I've been busy, and now it's time to start thinking about next year, so much to see, so much to do...
