I've got cravings for Mulberry's new bag, Alexa, gorgeous!
"Inspired by and named after British style icon Alexa Chung, it reflects one of our major seasonal themes of schoolgirl naivety and effortless charm," says Mulberry about the new bag that's been seen on, yes, fabulousAlexa. If only I had a few hundred pounds to spare....
The wedges are back in vogue and can be found in most shops at the moment, I used to love them a few years back, they are so much more comfortable than other high heels, and when I saw these, I think I started falling, again...
I feel like there's a bit of a shoe theme going on today (something I don't mind the least) so I figured I might as well throw in some more lovelies when I'm at it...
If you like street style blogs you should check out JAK & JIL, great inspiration from the fashion weeks, but from the sidewalk rather than the catwalk. Here is some eye candy for shoeaholics.
Can't say there's much change in appearance from when I left, except from a slightly tanned face (looks silly since the rest of me could give Snow White a run for her money) and a fair few bruises on my bum (which you can't see anyway)
Wearing: Top - Roxy / Jumper - GAP / Bag - Vintage from Paris / Jeans, Leather Jacket & Scarf - Second Hand
Oh, how I wish the weather wasn't quite so cold so that I could walk around the streets of Paris looking as cool, relaxed & stylish as Selma. Well, well, maybe next time...
The coolness of this look on a scale one to ten, I'd say, would have to be eleven, or more.I can't remember where I fount the picture, but it just feels so right, so now, the ripped jeans, the big rings, the loose shirt, the messy hair, everything is spot on, but not to much, very inspiring indeed.
I know I've said before that I haven't been to keen on the Madonna for Louis Vuitton campaign, but I have to say, after seeing this behind-the-scenes movie with her an Marc Jacobs, I'm starting to warm to it a bit more...
Louis Vuitton is going to use Madonna as their new face in an upcoming adcampaing. I don't know, but I don't really think she feels very Louis Vuitton?! Some time ago LV did a campaing shot by my favourite photographer Annie Leibovitz, starring Keith Richards, father & daughter Coppola & Sean Connery among others. I love all of them, the settings, everything. Beautiful!
Yesterday I wrote about Breakfast at Tiffany's. One of the reasons I like it so much is, of course, Audrey Hepburn. I think she's a great actress and I love her movies, especially A Roman Holiday & Sabrina. They had a speciall classics section at Blockbusters so during the winter in Sydney it was a typical sunday thing to go down there and get a load of old movies.
The fashion spot did a thing on her called "Audrey Hepburn's enduring appeal", then there is the movie "The Audrey Hepburn Story" staring Jennifer Love Hewitt as Audrey, which is a story about her life. I've seen it many years ago but would love to see it again.
When she retired from being an actress she wen't on to work with UNICEF.
She just seems like such a great person, and she was so stylish and beautiful.
